Acrylic on Canvas , framed in a dark blue wooden tray frame. Other Plans is so called due to months of wondering if it was complete. Originally inspired by a whirlpool after reading Madeline Miller’s ‘Circe’, this piece spent many months being moved back onto my easel for little tweaks and additions before finally being resolved in August 2026.
Deep grey blues surround complementary peach and burnt orange hues to create movement and contrast. Lines drawn with lilacs and greys hint at the natural inspiration of the ripples on water.
