Acrylic on Canvas , framed in a light wooden tray frame. ‘Happiness Hits Me’ came together after months of painting and working on new ideas, layering abstract areas over each other before stripping them away again with the use of masking fluid. Named after a lyric in the Suki Waterhouse song ‘Back in Love’ because I was listening to this song a lot after getting back in the studio after the birth of my daughter and it summed up the feeling of getting back to being creative perfectly.
